How To Be Happy – Happiness Means Finding Time For Fun

As a continuation of the How to Be Happy series, Life Coach Marie Wetmore (www.lionssharecoaching.com or www.mariewetmore.com) discusses the critical yet often forgotten ingredient for a happy life: fun. Marie talks about a common issue in life coaching: dealing with all of the pressures and expectations that make it seem like having fun and being happy is a low priority. So fun, which seems like it should be an obvious way to be happy, often seems superfluous to pursue. In fact fun is an extremely effective for increasing your happiness. And, of course, if you can be happy, you become more effective and helpful to others. When fun and enjoyment become a low priority, you’ll find that a month can go by without the vital fun that helps you be a happy person. This is a short encouraging film me and my friends made for the Curacao International Film Festival Rotterdam competition (CIFFR). Even though we lost the competition, we still wanted to use this to bring a positive message to the world. This short film shows you that no matter who you are or what situation your find yourself in, you can be happy too. Of course it’s not easy to always be happy, but happiness is a choice you have to make for yourself. Your attitude influences all the ones around you, that’s why it’s important to always be happy and have a positive attitude. We believe that if people would smile a bit more, the world would be a better place. We hope this encourages a lot of people to be happier, and also bring a positive message around the world. God Bless you all. Sorry about that :) )
