Get Happy in 5 Minutes

Feeling depressed, anxious or sad? Here are 7 tips to make yourself happy right now… it’s less than 5 minutes, but watch it only if you believe it can work (if you’re skeptical or not in the mood, this will make you throw-up in your throat a little and we don’t want that). Here’s psychiatristofnalts: thesidewalkpsychiatrist.wordpress.com This is normally something I’d post on responseofnalts (my other channel) but I wasn’t sure YOU would find it there. :) What makes you happy? What gets you out of a funk? Share please! Here are my notes for this video: 1) You’re already happy You’re a happy person. But you have unhappy thoughts. Separate them. 2) Set free your Debby Downer Doubt is external or your ego. Ditch it like a bad friend. Don’t carry around doubt, fear, anxiety. Travel light. Pay attention to your own downer. Instead of pushing these thoughts out, set ‘em free like helium balloons. 3) Garbage in, garbage out. What ever thoughts or information you fill your brain with will set your mood. So watch out for your stimuli- if you’re hanging around with downers… cheer ‘em up, ignore them or get as far as you can. Realize they’re up your but because they’ve carrying their own crap-filled suitcase. 4) Make room for some feel-good habits. Maybe you don’t like exercise, walking in the woods, or meditating. But trick yourself into these. They’ll make you feel better. See a psychiatrist or a psychologist if you’re into that. Mine is linked on your right. 5) Go see a life …

Second year show hand washing happiness med student

Dear All, This is a brief explanation of the two second year show clips, a little something on hand washing and being happy (this sounds common sensical, but i learned that a lot of people, including myself, have been washing our hands in the wrong way, and i thought because it’s flu season, it may be helpful if we started washing our hands in the right way). The last bit on happiness is something we learned in psychiatry, which again sounds like common sense, but something that i didn’t really think of before, so hopefully you’ll find it somewhat helpful. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Jeff

How Happy Are You – A Lama Marut Video Podcast

Your relative happiness is the real gauge of spiritual progress. The first steps to perfect happiness are to recognize the unhappiness we presently live with and have become inured to. And when we begin to see the results of even a little practice, we get some faith and are willing to work hard for our spiritual goals. What is Happiness What are we doing? What am I doing? All of us wake up in this world each day and with out noticing it, we dive deep into thought processes that help us to plan our morning, our afternoon, and our evenings around our biological human needs like how we are going to cloth ourselves, feed ourselves, and harness the resources required to transport ourselves to places we need or want to be. Although the process which takes place between thinking of what we need or want and how we will be able to attain that of which we need or want may be acquired through divergent means and paths through which we experience negative and positive emotion. The goal of the human decisions process is to weigh outcomes and decide on the action, which will deliver the most efficient satisfaction. Most of us wont naturally come to the conclusion that the human decision process is the vehicle that we use to strive for positive satisfaction. Happiness. Simply put, this is the pathway each of us use to reach positive emotional outputs. What does any of this mean? Why does this question matter! There seems to be an imbalance within todays wealth creation and how we feel about ourselves, what really makes us feel happy. If we look at consumerism today, with a wide objective view, we can easily see which countries are the largest consumers, deriving from the economy the largest financial sums. And yet it seems as though none of this financial prosperity is improving our happiness. The …
